The Office of Single Family Housing has identified REO properties in Alabama and Mississippi for potential use as temporary housing for families effected by Hurricane Katrina. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY SALES OF ALL PROPERTIES IN THESE STATES WILL BE SUSPENDED. NEW POST - 1-3-06. At this time hurricane evacuees are being placed in homes throughout both states.
