Effective December 1, 2006, the qualifications and regulations for the Good Neighbor Next Door Program will change. All candidates for this program must now use a HUD certified real estate agent to place a bid on a property, the commissions are the costs of the applicant and will not be reimbursed by HUD, the applicant and their spouse are ineligible if they have owned any property prior to 1 year of bid submission and applicants and their spouse could not have participated in the program in the past.
